Doing so helps provide additional support that makes it more difficult for the muscles of the surcharge of tension and possible or discs in the lower back. At the same time, weight lifting belts also helps to limit the movement of the back in relation to the rib cage. While many people associate the use of weightlifting belts to protect the back, the truth is that the devices can provide protection for the musculature of the entire upper torso.
