Weight Lifting Power Racks

For over 20 years of Powerlifting is with us already in operation in Germany and in its present form for over 25 years as World and European origins angeboten.Seine has this variant of the strength sports in America and England experienced. 1 January 1982 and then as an official sport of powerlifting in the Federal Association of German weightlifter incorporated. In the year 2000 saw a reorganization of sports weightlifting and powerlifting. Under the umbrella of the German Federal athletes (DAB) are now the Association of German Weightlifting Association (BVDG) and the Association of German Powerlifters Association (BVDK). Powerlifting, also called power lifting, a sport is when it comes to the maximum. The Powerlifting is performed in three individual events: squat, bench press, deadlift. In all three disciplines is trying to cope with the highest possible weight of a repeat. The validity of the tests is evaluated by three judges for a particular set of rules. This framework can be found at the Federal Association of German Powerlifters. The squat, as well as the other exercises, always carried out with the barbell. The barbell is removed from stands approximately at shoulder height. It is placed behind the barbell on the shoulders / neck, and must not lower than the bar diameter (about 3 cm) are placed parallel to the highest point of the shoulders. Then the athlete walks backwards and must come to a completely quiet and stand upright. Now is the starting signal "SQUAT" or "Bend," now may only be bent. It must be bent so low to the Hüftknickpunkt is lower than the highest point of the bent knee. Now needs to be re-erected. If the athletes calm and upright, is the command "drop" and the score. Bench press barbell rests on stands, which are firmly connected with a specific bank. The athlete lies on his back on the bench and take the dumbbell with both hands and takes it with or without the help of the loaders from the racks. This must include the fingers and thumb in two different directions, the rod, because the open or the reverse grip since 1 1st prohibited 1996th Now the bar has to be kept at arms extended, until the starting signal "START" takes place. Then weight is lowered to the chest until it touches them. After the referee signal the "press" the weight is back down to the top. Then the command is to store "RACK" or "drop". The deadlift is often called the king's discipline, as it chooses as the final discipline to compete. The barbell is at the feet of lift and has to be taken with both hands. Here in more than 90% of the cross handle is applied, that is, a hand reaches from the front and one from behind the bar. Now, based on the athlete and moves it to the bar, until the whole body is stretched and the knees are pushed through. This is followed by the command "DOWN" or "drop" and the triathlon is completed.
In conversations with older fellows that used to sport they practiced and the most still do, I realize again and again what was done at that time. The word "overtraining" or "overload knew" many of them not. This one should then also to think. The work performance and attitude was usually a much Higher!. A friend from the sports club told me recently that he had to get up early every day for three clock to feed to mow with his father for the house, small farm on the lawn. Then it went straight on into the work, which had to be further worked hard. And after the shift, it went back further in agriculture. In the evening before he went to soccer practice. And went the wrong expression. He ran the two kilometers to the sports field and the whole after the training back again! And in championship matches usually also the best man was on the field. He still mows the grass with a scythe skillfully in the area, the handshake is still unique. Another spoke of his hard work in a brick factory. 20-30 tons of coal, he shoveled a day (!) In a kiln. And besides, he found time to act effectively in a gymnastic club in his spare time. His upper body still shows a development that would make some boys envious. Finger force at that time was an expression of strength. Thus, pull-ups with one or two fingers in the exercise repertoire of many workers. Bob Peoples in the image can be seen. His book "Developing Physical Strength" has Krafsport with me in the library has long been a fixed place. Bob was a hard-working farmer. But in his spare time, he has trained himself in the basement shoveled (see picture) with primitive means and to the former world record-holder in the deadlift (with over 300 pounds) placed. Without any aids, such as lifting suit, let alone supplements or chemical means. That there was simply just not at this time. His training exercises: deadlifts, squats, snatch, curls and rowing. This he proved to be far ahead of his time, as shown in the book is. He tinkered numerous training equipment and is also considered one of the inventors of the power rack. These are not extreme examples, but simply witnesses to prove that in spite of much effort and stress is still much the way still possible. Even today there are many examples, thank God. Ex-ski champion Marc Girardelli told us on Podcast on www.power-quest.cc that he had spent years living on six hours sleep, because he himself had to set up the bars during training, while the drivers of other nations were still asleep, and their coach this work performed. There were many other exceptional athletes to list here. One can assume that each one example and that's the next time you do not want comes up in the training or the like, keep in mind. Only the hard way in training leads to success. That was and is. Abbreviations are not available. They lead to nowhere!. Another great thing is complex. So a set of exercises performed in succession. So about three swings do, then three Snatches, Cleans then three, then three Presses. Due to the length of exposure time the handle is trained very well.
