To complete the review of the Ozone Radon 3K, today I bring you the review of his playmate, the Ozone Trace. This mat is especially designed for laser and optical mice. Multilayered structure gives it both the virtues of rigid mats as textiles, making Trace a perfect mat to play. In addition to its design, it has fallen short with the surface, coming of leftovers for any use you want to. The packaging is good to be peculiarly a mat. A part of a rigid and transparent plastic that protects the Trace comes with a striking wrap carton. It found the front a replica of the printed design on the mat, and the name and a couple of phrases that speak of their characteristics. The packaging suggests the mat by the side. In the back of the envelope is a more detailed description of the mat, where the dimensions are the same, multilayered composite scheme, compatible with different mice and two year warranty. On the back you can also see non-slip rubber base. Once out of the box we can see the design in red and gray presents a scene of a shooter with a helicopter, a dollar in the air and blood, much blood, the hallmark of Ozone products, which gives sound aggressive to Trace, while little goes a sober lines of other brands. The upper is very soft and textile, which offers a very low friction while increasing the duration of the surfers in our mouse with respect to plastic mats. In the next picture in detail at the side, we can see the structure that gives the Trace all its features. As you can see four layers are clearly differentiated. From bottom to top we have the black rubber coating, which prevents the Trace move when we play, the red cape and semi-rigid plastic, which gives a touch of hardness and weight just the third is an array of air-filled polyurethane, making it soft and comfortable, and the last and finest is made from a material specially designed to provide the best response and little friction as possible. All these together make the best contribution Trace of rigid and fabric mats. I make special mention of this layer, because despite being one of canvas the mouse moves over it really fast, not as a mat finish on plastic, but more rapid than in the cloth pads I've tried. The only problem is that the multilayered structure increases the thickness of the Trace to 4 mm, which for some more fine mats used to be too, although some may take getting used to. Testing: I have only been tested with two mice, "gaming" laser, the Logitech G5 and the Ozone Radon 3K. The first works really well on it, faster than my other cloth mat and with the same precision. The Radon 3K appears to be designed for this mat. It slips quickly over it, the feeling of being on a rigid mat but with the convenience and lower cost of surfers that offer textile mats. As for setting the table, under normal use and does not move, but if we move with the hand that attaches less than other mats, nothing serious.Conclusion: this is a great pad, great and unique design. The multi laminar structure makes it a very comfortable pad, although it might be a little thin and the rubber a little more sticky, but as I said before anything serious, I will not move when trifle for nothing. If we combine it with the mouse Radon 3K, are an excellent pair of game.
